UFO-SD's first managing director in Forgotten became a legend. His name was Hasse Holquist, and despite the fact that he died in 1936, he is still a prominent figure in Forgotten. Both the city's longest street and its train station are named after him. Hasse was a very important man, to say the least. He was on comfortable terms with many of the great personalities of his time, and author Schneyder nicknamed him the "uncrowned King of Forgotten." Working as a government geologist, he first visited Alkuna in 1890 when the town was in its infancy. In 1898, when it was clear that the ore railway was to be extended he began working for UFO-SD. To begin with, as a general manager in Forgotten, Hasse Holquist was a great patron of the arts, and he often hosted many of the great painters of his time in his beautiful home in Alkuna. Prince Mott was perhaps closest of his artists friends. Alkuna's reputation amongst artists cultivated by Hasse Holquist, continues to this day.
